satellite design who? what? where?
about the studio
Satellite Design is a San Francisco graphic design firm specializing in brand identity and print communications. We help clients develop simple but powerful visual messages that cut through the clutter of a crowded marketplace.

What makes us different? We focus on product-level marketing, distilling complicated product information into simple ideas that motivate customers. We help clients like The North Face, Hitachi and Wells Fargo sift through pages of product specifications to develop the messages that really matter to consumers. Then we turn those messages into compelling packaging, POP and print collateral. Our clients want to sell things. Consumers want to buy things. Smart messaging and good design help bring the two together.

about our principals

Satellite Design is led by two principals, Amy Gustincic and Chris Harges. Amy is a designer. Chris is a copywriter. This diversity of backgrounds profoundly informs the studios approach to client projects. Our design strategy stems from a combination of verbal and visual reasoning.

Amy Gustincic

She is the past president of the San Francisco chapter of the AIGA, the professional association for design. She teaches and speaks regularly on the practice and business of graphic design.
